These Terms govern use of the AirportNotes mobile application and service. By creating an account or continuing with Apple or Google, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the AirportNotes Privacy Policy.
Operational disclaimer
AirportNotes is a pilot-to-pilot memory aid. It is not an approved navigation, flight-planning, dispatch, weather, NOTAM, chart, performance or operational information source. Airport and runway reference data and community notes may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Always use current approved documents, company procedures and official sources. You remain responsible for every operational decision.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information, protect your login methods, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not publish unlawful, unsafe, abusive, deceptive, private, infringing or spam content; impersonate another person; interfere with the service; scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it; or attempt unauthorized access.
Community notes are visible to other users. You retain ownership of content you create and grant AirportNotes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and display community content solely to operate and improve the service. You can delete your notes. We may hide or remove content and restrict accounts to protect users, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
Offline use and synchronization
AirportNotes is designed to work offline and synchronize later. Connectivity, operating-system restrictions, conflicts, account status or service outages may delay synchronization. Review synchronization status before relying on a note being available on another device.
Subscriptions, purchases and advertising
AirportNotes Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that enables private notes and removes ads. The legacy Remove Ads purchase removes ads but does not enable private notes. Prices, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase. Store rules govern billing, cancellation and refunds. Deleting an AirportNotes account does not cancel a store subscription; manage it through the relevant store.
Free accounts may see advertising. Advertising consent and privacy controls are provided where required.
Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, update airport reference data, or change free and paid offerings. We aim to preserve user data and provide reasonable notice of material changes, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Account termination
You may delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risk, fraud or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirportNotes is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. AirportNotes and its operator are not liable for flight, operational, safety or commercial decisions based on the service, or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Questions: info@airportnotes.info.
Apple users also remain subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. If these Terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the mandatory store terms control.
